The right interface can make a site easy to use, encourage early adoption, and save time and resources. We’re looking for you, a web developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to create an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency.

Bring your passion for creating an amazing user experience to Booz Allen. We need an experienced front-end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems in the Intelligence Community (IC) by collaborating with a development team to build a web application with a user-centric design.

On our team, you’ll coordinate UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using modern front-end frameworks and content management systems. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with front-end website development
  • Experience with HTML5/CSS3, SASS, and any D3, OpenLayers, or modern task runners
  • Experience with functional development, including Javascript, jQuery, Angular 8+, Node and Typescript, Express, webpack, MySQL, Nginx, KoaJS, Lerna, or Electron
  • Experience with developing websites using content management systems, including Joomla or WordPress
  • Experience with developing, maintaining, and updating the content of websites
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure development and automation, including AWS and Jenkins or related automation services
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer workflows
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and be proactive
  • Ability to build trust with clients and maintain excellent working relationships with onsite staff, including daily contact with clients and leadership staff
  • Ability to advise and assist with a design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
