TEMPEST Practitioner
Key Role:
Perform TEMPEST Countermeasures Reviews, Visual TEMPEST Inspections (VTI), and TEMPEST technical inspections, assessments, evaluations, and reviews. Ensure all required reports are complete with minimal errors and that all processes, activities, and reporting are conducted within established time frames. Ensure required TEMPEST reporting and annual training requirements are conducted and completed according to National Policy and the client's Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA).
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in TEMPEST, Physical or Technical Security, or Facility Inspection fields
3+ years in facility accreditation inspections, shielding, grounding, and Protected Distribution Systems
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
National TEMPEST School Certification
Graduate of a Federal or DoD CI training Academy
Graduate of Advanced TEMPEST training Course
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
