Key Role:
Serve as a planner of military operations and plan at a geographic command level organization. Coordinate and integrate planned operations in conjunction with Joint Staff, components, and Interagency. Articulate subject matter expert advice for information joint function during mission analysis. Produce quality, relevant input on strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, staff estimates, concepts of support, and strategic operational analysis reports. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise with a focus on doctrine, conduct research, and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform client leadership. Work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with DoD organizations at the Combatant Command level
Knowledge of operating in a multinational environment and working directly at a strategic-level staff with foreign partner and Allied militaries
TS/SCI clearance
HS Diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Joint Staff organizational decision-making processes
Experience with international treaty organizational decision-making processes
Knowledge of joint planning publications, authorities, and permissions
Bachelor's degree
PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification
Clearance:
