Intelligence Security Cooperation Officer

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Intelligence Security Cooperation Officer to support our client in advancing U.S. intelligence collaboration and capacity-building efforts in Africa. In this role, you will advise senior leadership on intelligence equities related to Security Cooperation (SC) and Building Partner Capacity (BPC) programs, ensuring that intelligence engagement strategies and plans align with broader U.S. defense and diplomatic objectives. 

 

You will serve as a liaison to U.S. embassies, partner-nation intelligence organizations, and interagency stakeholders to strengthen cooperative frameworks, synchronize activities, and promote interoperability in support of U.S. and allied missions. This position demands strong diplomatic acumen, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of both the intelligence enterprise and the security cooperation lifecycle—from requirements development through assessment and evaluation.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience supporting the DoD or Intelligence Community in Security Cooperation, International Engagement, or Partner Capacity Building 

  • Experience developing or advising on regional or country-specific engagement strategies, intelligence cooperation plans, or campaign plan annexes 

  • Experience collaborating with U.S. embassies, component commands, the Joint Staff, and interagency or multinational partners 

  • Experience representing U.S. intelligence equities in multinational or interagency working groups 

  • Knowledge of the Security Cooperation planning, oversight, execution, and assessment process, including Significant Security Cooperation Initiatives, Country Coordinating Meetings, and BPC initiatives 

  • Ability to analyze and integrate complex political-military and intelligence factors into actionable recommendations for senior leadership 

  • TS/SCI clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, or 10+ years of experience with intelligence analysis in lieu of a degree  

 

Nice If You Have: 

  • 1+ years of experience as a Foreign Area Officer (FAO) or regional affairs specialist 

  • Knowledge of African AOR security, political, or threat issues 

  • Knowledge of foreign military sales and partner nation engagement tracking and reporting processes 

  • Ability to coordinate interagency and multinational planning teams, and to communicate complex information clearly and diplomatically 

  • Possession of excellent oral, written, and cross-cultural communication skills, including briefing

  • Completion of Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) training, such as SC Planning, Oversight, and Execution Management or SC Case Life Cycle Management 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
