Key Role:
Support Future Joint Force Development in developing military capabilities for multiple combatant commands and coalition clients. Provide functional, domain, and regional expertise for the development of future joint concepts. Apply advanced consulting skills and technical expertise to develop the Joint Warfighting Concept and associated supporting documents. Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to DoD Planning, Maritime Operations, and Anti-Access and Area Denial operations. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems that align with and support national defense and military strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
15 years of experience with military operations at the senior level
4 years of experience with Joint Concept development
Experience with Maritime Operations and A2AD Operations
Experience with a Combatant Command or senior Service Staff
Knowledge of DoD Joint Operational Planning process
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Joint Force Development and Design activities preferred
Knowledge of National Security Policy
Knowledge of command relationships and interorganizational cooperation, including multi-national, interagency, and non-governmental agency coordination
Ability to effectively interpret the intent of a client’s needs and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
Graduate of Joint Professional Military Education Phase II Certification
Graduate of a Senior Service college, advanced warfighting school, including SAMS, SAWS, or JAWS, or War College Certification preferred
