Intelligence Planner

Key Role:

Design, develop, and execute solutions in support of intelligence organizations, missions, and processes. Apply specific functional, working, general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with intelligence planning

  • Experience with joint and combined multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, and developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs

  • Ability to support and advise senior defense officials

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with analysis or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with analysis

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working at a Combatant Command or in a forward-deployed environment

  • Experience with task management and mission management

  • Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and its inputs and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Courses of Action, and Annex Bs

  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence planning

  • Ability to brief senior defense and government officials

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Completion of DoD Intelligence Planning Courses

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
