Key Role:
Identify, prepare, and coordinate acquisition program documentation, including Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, and Acquisition Decision Memorandums. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of acquisitions compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Experience with the Department of Defense instruction (DoDI) 5000.02 for acquisitions milestone documentation and document staffing processes
Ability to edit complex technical documents and ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with military operations and acquisitions management or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with military operations and acquisitions management
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with document staffing tools and data management software applications
Knowledge of Acquisitions Lifecycle and application of cost, schedule, and performance metrics for tracking health of complex acquisitions programs
Knowledge of Simplified Acquisitions, Mid-Tier Acquisitions and Other Transactional Agreements
Ability to collect and interpret data relating to weapon systems acquisition and to recommend best practices and solutions to reduce program risk
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
