Exercise Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Participate in diverse groups to build shared a comprehension of space operations collaboration. Facilitate collective problem solving, which lead to new solutions and best practices through planning and executing supported exercises, wargames, and any supporting exercise events. Consider coalition partners, collaborators, and subordinate centers as part of the solution set. Participate in data analysis to design accurate, and realistic exercise materials that result in improved organizational mission performance. Deliver exercise events that allow clients to identify process initiatives and confirm viability of procedures. Monitor practice and execution of those processes and procedures to confirm understanding of their effect.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in operational and technical military planning, development, coordination, and execution of Joint, Coalition and Service participation in Combatant Command operations, exercises, demonstrations, experiments, and real-world space operations
  • Experience at the tactical or operational level in Space Operations
  • Experience with exercise planning
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as staff at a Major Command
  • Experience in the major space missions or centers
  • Knowledge of Combatant Command planning processes and Joint Publication 5-0 and Joint Publication 3-14
  • Knowledge of the Joint Training Management Systems
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:
