As a Security Cooperation Planner, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing security cooperation activities with foreign partners in the space domain. You'll serve as a subject matter expert on security cooperation activities and provide advice to the Commander. You will provide regional expertise and support the development of security cooperation plans and strategies. You'll develop and maintain relationships with foreign partners to advance security cooperation objectives. You'll conduct country and regional analyses to identify security cooperation opportunities and challenges, and develop and implement security cooperation plans and strategies in support of national security objectives. You'll coordinate with other U.S. government agencies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations to achieve security cooperation objectives. You'll provide training and capacity-building support to foreign partners, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security cooperation activities. Additionally, you will perform data entry for security cooperation events into security cooperation information management systems and generate customized reports on regional and sub-regional security cooperation activity.

You Have:
5+ years of experience in security cooperation within a Department of Defense organization
Experience with security cooperation policy and procedures in the Space Domain
Experience developing Operations, Activities, and Initiatives (OAIs)
Knowledge of security cooperation principles, policies, and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with foreign partners and stakeholders
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience working with foreign partners and international organizations
Knowledge of US government policies and procedures related to security cooperation
Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Master's degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related field preferred
Security Cooperation Certification (SCC)
Completion of Joint Security Cooperation Course (JSCC)
Security Cooperation Management Course (SCMC) Certification
Completion of Foreign Area Officer (FAO) Training
Completion of Security Cooperation Training Courses
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
