Integrated Fires Officer Training Expert

Key Role:

Develop and promote Naval Information Warfare (IW) readiness by providing insight and training of latest integrated fires practices. Design, develop, and execute training solutions within a particular specialty in support of IW and intelligence organizations, missions, and processes. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Employ the joint targeting cycle to incorporate both kinetic and non-kinetic fires to achieve desired effects. Bring in-depth understanding and expertise of Navy’s Maritime Operations Center (MOC) fires cell roles and responsibilities to include deliberate and dynamic targeting and, according to doctrine and the adversary’s center of gravity, vulnerabilities, and capabilities. Engage the broader intelligence community to understand the Operational Environment (OE) and adversary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Navy leader at an Information Warfare command, afloat staff, or as an Integrated Fires Officer

  • Knowledge of kinetic and non-kinetic fires, information-based capabilities involving assured Command and Control (C2), and battlespace awareness

  • Ability to understand, visualize, describe, deliver, and assess the OE

  • Ability to leverage combat, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), and C2 data to improve target acquisition, precision, and persistent targeting

  • TS/SCI clearance required

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with providing Integrated Fires training products and services

  • Experience developing IW or Intelligence related training

  • Knowledge of Integrated Fires resources, including Joint Doctrine, Universal Joint Tasks (UJTs), Navy Tactical Tasks (NTAs), and existing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP)

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
