Analytic Methodologist

We’re looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with analytic methodologies, knowledge graphs, and ontologies for the Department of Defense.

As an analytic methodologist on our Space and Military Intelligence team, you’ll learn and apply innovative methodologies to make a real-world impact on national security. You’ll grow your skills in data modeling and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience working with ambiguous information, deconstructing key questions, and developing and evaluating analytic methodologies

  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining domain-specific ontologies

  • Experience applying semantic web standards to knowledge model entities, relationships, and vocabulary in accordance with industry and government data standards

  • Experience with semantic data retrieval and reasoning via multiple protocols

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community clients

  • Experience facilitating the integration of data sources and ensuring interoperability with various systems

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in analytical methodology development or 12+ years of experience in analytical methodology development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with enterprise data management 

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes

  • Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
