Digital Strategy and Transformation Consultant

Key Role:
Explore, document, and detail how current business processes are supported by existing IT systems to define and implement digital strategies that improve overall business and mission performance. Serve as the Rosetta Stone between technical development teams and non-technical C-level audiences to ensure understanding and alignment of technical and business requirements. Identify, describe, and recommend changes to current system features and functionality and new system features and functionality to improve overall business and mission performance. Develop and refine Enterprise IT roadmaps, modernization plans, and associated implementation plans.

Facilitate technical strategy workshops with business process owners, system stakeholders, and end users to facilitate decision making for IT modernization activities.

Lead the collection and consolidation of business requirements to recommend best of breed technologies for enterprise strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as a business analyst or consultant working at the intersection of technology and business strategy

-2+ years of experience with designing and implementing organization change management strategies in the context of large-scale program implementations or IT initiatives

-Experience with IT strategy, IT project management, enterprise architecture, SDLC, or transformation

-Ability to lead strategy and business analysis workshops and sessions with both business and IT stakeholders

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in a similar commercial or federal strategy consulting firm

-Experience with leading tasks or work streams, including overseeing and guiding consulting or analytical project teams of 2 - 5+ staff

-Experience with directly supporting CIOs, CTOs, or major programs in the development of IT strategies

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting technical deliverables, analysis, and recommendations to non-technical or C-level audiences

-BS degree in Business, IT, MIS, Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; MBA degree a plus

-Agile training or Project Management Certifications, including ICAgile Certified, Project Management Professional (PMP), CMAP, or Prosci
