Key Role:
Use current graphic design technology and computer software packages to produce advertisements, sales promotions, and public relations material for visual communications media. Originate design, art, and copy layouts while determining style, size, and arrangement of type and illustrations. Provide instructions and directly assemble and prepare final layouts for the printer. Apply comprehensive knowledge of the particular field of specialization to the completion of significant assignments. Lead, direct, plan, and conduct assignments involving the larger and more important projects and multiple projects while reviewing progress and evaluating results. Assist with the review and evaluation of personnel performance and act as a liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations. Evaluate progress and results and recommend major changes in procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with graphic design and layout
Knowledge of the DoD and the intelligence community (IC)
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with MAPublisher
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master’s degree preferred
Clearance:
