Healthcare Quality and Policy Analyst

Key Role:

Apply healthcare discipline expertise to address provider strategic and operational priorities in the pursuit of healthcare delivery transformation. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentors or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with government and private sector healthcare transformation programs, including quality improvement, quality measurement, and value-based purchasing (VBP)

  • Experience with the Quality Payment Program (QPP), preferably gained through direct engagement with CMS for the implementation, performance measurement, or measure management for the program

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry initiatives related to quality improvement, quality measurement, and value-based purchasing

  • Ability to think strategically, pursue thought leadership and business development, support project management, and lead teams on healthcare quality measurement, quality improvement, or value-based purchasing topics

  • Master's degree in Health

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance measurement, including analyzing quality measures in the context of program design and performance

  • Experience conducting monitoring and evaluation of CMS quality reporting and VBP programs

  • Experience with policy analysis

  • Experience interpreting and reporting quality measures and program performance data

  • Experience using data, policy trends, and QPP program expertise to develop evidence-based, data-driven program recommendations

  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies and approaches

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
