Key Role:
Install systems on dedicated infrastructure, ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, and update and patch critical systems. Provide customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Accomplish work without considerable direction.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with systems administration
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
Experience with managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
Knowledge of Linux iptables, networking configuration, and DNS
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with managing systems using Salt
Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems
Bachelor's degree
DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
