As a Naval Program Analyst, you will have the opportunity to apply your leadership, management, and technical skills to facilitate developing innovative solutions to complex problems. Furthermore, you will work closely with Navy leadership and a wide array of stakeholders in providing Executive and Administrative support to ensure daily operations, workflows, and tasks are executed and aligned with the Navy’s mission.  In this role, you will work independently and in a team environment to support Senior Executive Service leaders, Flag Officers, and senior government stakeholders by applying Program Management, Project Management, and Agile methodologies with a primary focus on improving communication, speed of delivery, fiscal transparency, and efficiencies.

Responsibilities include managing and prioritizing correspondence, facilitating communication across the organization, managing executive’s schedule and engagements, and document tracking and development to support mission-critical objectives. The ideal candidate will drive efficient workflows by organizing, tracking, and responding to emails and other communications with precision and professionalism and apply best practices to shape Front Office operations. Lead and support engagements to solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems and develop evaluation methods to assess client impact, addressing organizational, process, people, or leadership challenges. Apply knowledge of technological solutions and change management to promote process improvement.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment

  • Experience working with Navy, Defense, Joint, or Combatant Command (COCOM) staff, including as an Action Officer, Flag Aide, or with Private Sector Executives

  • Experience with Congressional or legislative affairs, including as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff

  • Experience managing executive level communications with DoW, DoN, Federal taskers, Congressional and industry RFIs, and talking point development

  • Experience with regular direct client interactions, including supporting project delivery, delivering presentations, and leading client meetings

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, including PowerBI or Automation tools

  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience working in a federal government environment such as the DoW or DoN

  • Experience working on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Staffer or Navy Office of Legislative Affairs

  • Experience with the Congressional Authorization and Appropriations process, the DoD legislative process, including program objective memorandum (POM) preparation, Budget Estimate Submissions (BES), President’s Budget (PB) Exhibit preparation, and working with senior Congressional staff and Navy officials

  • Experience employing Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) tools and Agile methodologies

  • Knowledge of the ETMS2 tasking system

  • Ability to track and comprehend acquisition and procurement goals as they move through the legislative cycle and plan, organize, and execute tasks with minimal direction

  • Master’s degree

  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
