Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, Lead

The Challenge:

Many organizations know where they want to go, yet need organization effectiveness consultants to help them chart a path to get there. We’re looking for you: An organization effectiveness consultant who can partner with clients to help them identify their vision, long term goals and objectives, redesign their organization to improve performance, and help them successfully navigate large scale organizational changes. As an organization effectiveness consultant, your role will be to partner with your client to conduct assessments and analyses to help them see their organization from the outside. From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, you’ll help create a holistic view of their organization as well as the multiple, data-driven paths they can take to transform. Your ability to understand the effects of change in an organization and how to mitigate challenges, will help your client achieve successful and sustainable organizational changes.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with organizational effectiveness, organizational transformation, organizational design and alignment, strategic planning, or organizational culture
  • 4+ years of experience with supporting federal government or private sector clients, including briefing and interacting with senior or C-suite leaders
  • Experience with leading client services delivery in compliance with firm and team service delivery standards
  • Experience with planning and implementing data gathering and analysis approaches including facilitation of interviews and focus groups
  • Experience with project management, including development of project plans, methodological approaches, leveraging critical thinking, problem solving, and initiative
  • Ability to lead a team of 3+ team members toward a project outcome
  • Ability to forge relationships with key client contacts to identify existing and emerging organizational client needs
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with contributing to business development efforts, including selling and proposal development
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and PowerPoint at a proficient level
  • Experience with performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and visualization using statistical programs and survey software, including Excel, SPSS, and Tableau
  • Knowledge of the federal contracting process, contracts types, and contract management
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail in all aspects of client delivery
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication with all levels of staff and clients, including having difficult conversations towards positive outcomes
  • Active Secret clearance preferred
  • MA or MS degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
