That is why we need you, an experienced R&D Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor, to provide high-quality support.
As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical specialist for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You’ll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You will leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You’ll maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies.
You'll serve as an R&D Security and Supply Chain Risk Advisor helping clients to thoroughly assess program security and supply chain risks associated with suppliers, personnel, products, materials, or information. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success.
What You’ll Work On:
Provide support to senior executives and personnel from offices and directorates throughout the agency on matters related to R&D program security, including processes, reviews, and risks.
Prepare reports, briefs, and other documents and communications to convey security risk findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Review documentation and leverage software tools and systems to assess the security risk of individuals, organizations, and programs.

You Have:
7+ years of experience with supply chain risk assessments or risk-based reviews of suppliers and personnel, including from prime, sub, or vendors, and associated products, materials, or information supplied
Knowledge of the R&D lifecycle, stages of research development and investment, and foreign ownership, control, or influence
Knowledge of tactics of adversaries in unwanted technology transfer
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience in an R&D environment
Experience supporting programs such as DARPA or U.S. DoD advanced development programs
Experience with reviews of proposed or current vendors for compliance with federal requirements regarding foreign ownership, control, or influence
Experience with supply chain risk management (SCRM) and Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) reviews
Ability to demonstrate professionalism and sound judgement
Ability to be team-oriented
Possession of excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills for daily interactions with executive-level audiences in a dynamic, high-visibility support office environment
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, International Studies, or National Security field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
