The Opportunity:
The Sustainment Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting sustainment activities for a federal client. As a Project Manager, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced SPM who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
In this role you will lead a team managing the transition of VA medical facilities from EHR go-live to a state of long-term sustainment; this includes tracking and supporting transition timelines and hand-offs, and tracking, coordinating, and reporting on high-priority topics for the facility. You'll actively engaging with stakeholders across stakeholders, this includes directing engagement with program leadership and leadership at federal medical facilities. You will develop project plans, timelines, and resource plans for sustainment activities and efforts directing and managing the activities of the team. Some travel may be required in support of direct engagement needs.

You Have:
10+ years of experience with project management
Experience managing Information Technology related projects
Experience coordinating, developing, or contributing to a wide range of sustainment-related materials, products, and deliverables
Experience presenting sustainment products and deliverables across various settings and various audiences
Experience maintaining sustainment materials, meeting minutes, and briefing documents
Experience tracking costs, schedule and performance progress for sustainment activities
Knowledge of life cycle and project management methodologies
Ability to identify and mitigate risks
Public Trust
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or Business
Nice If You Have:
Experience with VA
Experience supporting the Federal Government
Experience implementing or working with EHRs
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
Possession of strong research and content development skills
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
