GPS/Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Engineer

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the design and operation of data and voice communication systems, performing a variety of complex positioning, navigation, and timing engineering tasks and activities associated with one or more areas of the telecom functions. Maintain responsibility for assisting with enabling the Army to transition to the next version of GPS signal technology. This position requires travel up to 15% of the time.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with PNT, GPS, or electronic communication systems
-Experience with GPS receiver engineering
-Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
-Active Secret clearance
-BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences
-Experience with electronics design and analysis, including weapons systems, application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), or microelectromechanical (MEMs) systems
-Experience with technical project or program management
-Experience with DARPA or another DoD R&D organization 
-Knowledge of internal measurement unit (IMU) design and analysis
-Top Secret clearance

-MS or PhD degree in Physics, EE, CS, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Engineering
