The Opportunity:
As data analyst, you love diving into F-35 Maintenance and Logistics data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge to help format, analyze, and transform logistics information to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
As a client-facing data analyst on our F-35 team, you’ll provide logistics and sustainment business process and data analysis expertise to support execution and sustainment. The scope of the role can change as different projects launch and priorities change, so flexibility is important. This is an opportunity to create efficiency in logistics data transformation. This position will allow you to work with a client’s organization to develop and implement solutions, solve challenges, and build better business processes along the way. As a member of our F-35 Logistics and Sustainment team, you’ll conduct research and data analysis for consulting projects as we build organizational and process solutions. Like to see plans in action? You’ll help build a trusted relationship with our client as your team identifies and anticipates their needs and proposes solutions. How You’ll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, you’ll:
Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support F-35 client and stakeholder data analytics needs.
Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.
Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases, scripting languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.
Work with us to help drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:
6+ years of experience with DoD logistics information systems operations
Experience with DoD Supply, Product Lifecycle Management, Operational, Intermediate, and Depot level Maintenance, Contracting, or financial functions
Experience with Agile project management, including developing user stories and using common Agile tools
Knowledge of best practices, policies, and procedures related to sustainment data security, data quality and integrity, data extraction, data analytics, and data visualization
Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and best practices
Ability to comprehend stakeholder needs effectively, communicate development plans, and track progress milestones
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with F-35 logistics sustainment data management and governance
Experience with building robust analytical models, including forecasts, cost models, and historical trend analyses
Experience with AWS or Azure data tools and approaches
Knowledge of Tableau
Ability to establish a data governance framework to engage and manage a metadata catalog of Logistics and Sustainment related systems, data sets, and data interfaces
Ability to manipulate and integrate databases with SQL, SAS, or other languages
Possession of excellent quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, process design, and data management
DAMA CDMP, CMMI DMM, Scrum Master, and DoD 8570 Certifications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Colorado: $61,600 - $127,100 (annualized USD)
New York (including New York City): $65,000 - $152,500 (annualized USD)
