Job Description
Key Role:
Perform a variety of tasks using position classification expertise to help the federal government select and manage talent effectively and modernize government services to increase mission focus. Examine complex organizations through an innovative perspective using expertise in workforce transformation, client consulting, and strategic human resource management. Apply problem-solving expertise to help analyze workforce policies, procedures, and tools to support transformation efforts for the federal government. Consult government leaders on talent management and make recommendations for improving human capital and change management practices. Work independently with some guidance.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with management analysis, including supporting human resource programs
Experience with position classification
Experience writing and editing position descriptions
Experience supporting hiring managers in providing HR services and conducting analyses of complex functions within serviced organizations
Knowledge of a wide range of HR concepts, principles, laws, regulations, and practices
Knowledge of position classification principles, practices, and techniques to advise managers on developing position descriptions
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with position classification in the federal government
Experience writing and editing position descriptions for the federal government
Knowledge of analytical methods and techniques to design and conduct comprehensive HR studies to propose solutions to HR problems
Ability to multitask and deliver professional services in a fast-paced environment
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
