Knowledge Manager and SharePoint Specialist

Key Role:

Create, develop, implement, and maintain a knowledge management program within joint cyber capabilities operations in line with the client's knowledge management guidance, as a Knowledge Management and SharePoint Specialist. Enable collaboration of Cyber operational data to provide office leadership with relevant information to make informed decisions. Promote and assist with the use of internal knowledge management tools. Create, develop, implement, and maintain repeatable knowledge management best practices and processes for continual process improvement. Integrate information throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal and external clients. Serve as a SharePoint Specialist and design and develop web parts, InfoPath forms, Microsoft Office integration applications, workflows, page templates, branding customizations, Microsoft FAST Search for SharePoint search scopes, and web services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a knowledge management specialist
  • 3+ years of experience developing, staging, testing, and hosting selected SharePoint solutions
  • 3+ years of experience creating connections to systems allowing the display of dashboards using components, including Microsoft Excel or Structured Query Language (SQL) Reporting Service
  • Experience collaborating with U.S. military leadership
  • Experience managing user access controls and security permissions for SharePoint
  • Ability to configure collaboration sites and forms authentication for staff access
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
