We’re looking for a system administrator with a solid background in Navy enclave management to help us manage complex customer network environments to help us deploy cyber security solutions.
As a system administrator on our project, you’ll install, troubleshoot, and perform administration of DoD networks. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management.
Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experience as a systems administrator on DoD networks
- Experience with physical and virtual hardware, including software application scanning, patching, and regression testing of unclassified and classified enclaves, and with performing installations, configuration, maintenance, and resolution of deficiencies, including replacing end-of-life solutions, patching systems, and making configuration changes to system components
- Experience maintaining a patch management process for Windows and Red Hat systems to ensure compliance with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
- Experience maintaining systems working with Type-1 and Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 compliant encryption algorithms with the
- Knowledge of Navy IT sites, systems, and infrastructure
- Ability to handle, store, inventory, account for, and destroy Communications Security (COMSEC) material, and apply operating system lockdowns per Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
- Ability to devise and execute client deliverables, research independently, identify problems and devise analysis and solutions, communicate results and report findings, and lead the accomplishments of client tasks from inception to completion
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8140 Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
