Counterintelligence Cyber Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments. Support a diverse range of complex problems and work with limited direction. Interface with internal and external customers at a strategic level and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts. Provide cyber-focused subject matter expertise for CI planning, operations, investigations, training, and associated activities. Serve as the primary interface between the client and cyber stakeholders for CI cyber planning and operational matters. Coordinate inputs and recommendations to the program. De-conflict and coordinate CI cyber activities among CI executors, components, and military services. Assist with writing social media, cyber, and CI plans and operational proposals, including planning, requirements, and tasking documents and orders. Participate in working groups, cyber conferences, cyber roundtables, and other cyber initiatives. Assist the government with reviewing, processing, coordinating, and developing Command and DoD cyber plans, policies, procedures, directives, and concepts. Support CI initiatives in the cyber domain. Prepare and deliver briefings to Command leadership on significant cyber-CI investigations, operations, collections, analysis, and production matters. Discover, track, report, and fuse global network events of interest utilizing cyber intelligence analysis data and methods. Identify hostile threat methodologies, attack vectors, and other cyber activities of interest. Provide focused operations and threat analysis on known intrusion sets and identify new attack methods and exploited vulnerabilities. De-conflict CI cyber activity on behalf of the client and provide recommendations to the USG lead. Represent the combatant command with USIC, and non-U.S. partner services for CI cyber activity. Develop and provide exportable cyber training programs to build cyber capabilities and tailored for government personnel who are not IT professionals but do work in an information security environment. Provide introductory level training and security fundamentals training, designed to prepare government personnel for Global Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) certification, including topics of security foundation, computer functions and networking, introduction to cryptography, and cybersecurity technologies. Provide security fundamentals training, designed to prepare government personnel for Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials certification, including topics of networking concepts, defense in-depth, internet security technologies, secure communications, MS Windows security, and Unix or Linux security.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with Counterintelligence Operations
  • ​3+ years of experience coordinating and de-conflicting cyber operations with regional combatant commands and military service cyber organizations
  • Experience coordinating with interagency or intergovernmental intelligence organizations on cyber issues
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
