Cybersecurity and Program Protection Analyst

Key Role:

Leverage domain knowledge to create cybersecurity solutions aligned to client's mission. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF), Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity guidance, Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) disciplines and techniques, authorization package creation, security control implementation, and secure design

  • Experience with Access Only Authorization Packages and associated AOs

  • Knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle, Systems Engineering (SE) design principles, technical writing, project management, and risk-based analysis

  • Ability to conduct cybersecurity assessments of new or existing architecture for compliance with security requirements from security frameworks

  • Ability to create documentation to support information system authorization packages and provide continuous monitoring support for information systems

  • Ability to develop architecture deliverables, specific to information security countermeasure implementations for operational systems and systems under development, and assist in the development of security policies, standards, and guidance

  • Ability to implement security controls in embedded systems and avionics in accordance with Authorizing Official (AO), Air Force, DoD, and Commerce requirements

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity

  • IAT Level II DoD 8140.01 or 8570.01-M Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Technology Protection or Anti-Tamper

  • Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, and rapid prototyping practices as applied to project management and system development

  • Knowledge of position, navigation, and timing (PNT) concepts and practices

  • Knowledge of Global Positioning System (GPS) concepts and practices

  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts and practices

  • Knowledge of cloud design, microelectronics, and cybersecurity tools

  • Ability to apply cybersecurity and PPP concepts in novel ways to support unique system requirements and program goals

  • Ability to take an information system through the entire RMF to achieve an Authority to Operate (ATO)

  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
