Key Role:
Collaborate with a team of creative problem solvers to evaluate and modify Digital Signal Processing (DSP) hardware and software to support military clients. Conduct testing, analysis, and development efforts to perform signal analysis, compression, transformation, and analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion. Support critical government research and development programs related to signals-based microelectronics design and verification. Provide technical and programmatic advice and support services for a range of advanced systems, sensor, and computer processing technologies and programs. Assist the government with technical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations. Support the design, development, test, fielding, and sustainment of advanced signals-based microelectronics systems and associated trust and assurance programs. Leverage technical expertise in the analysis and design of digital signal chains for critical technologies for the DoD. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials for government research and development efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the electrical or computer engineering field
5+ years of experience with DSP development and research across multiple device families and platforms
Experience with digital logic design performing RF signal sampling, collection, error correction, transmission, compression, and transformation
Knowledge of multiple commercial and government signal types across the RF spectrum, including encryption and decryption, scrambling, and capture of signal data
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Digital Signal Processing tools and techniques, including MATLAB
Experience with benchtop test equipment, including Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, or Vector Signal Generators
Experience with analyzing, refining, and executing test plans and procedures
Experience with developing technical documentation and reports
Knowledge of Linux distributions, including Redhat, CentOS, and Kali Linux
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering preferred; Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
