As a Cryptographic Modernization Technician on our team, you have the chance to design cryptographic systems in support of Navy missions. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Navy systems and classified environments. You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience with executing test scenarios and working with test plans

  • 2+ years of experience with developing and maintaining Test Reports, Test Procedures, Test Plans, and training documents

  • 2+ years of experience with configuration of cryptographic products, including HAIPE, LEF, and STE

  • 1+ year of experience with Network Analysis techniques, including Wireshark and tcpdump

  • 1+ year of experience with Host Operating Systems, including Windows and Linux

  • Ability to analyze and communicate complex technical challenges to both technical and non-technical clients and stakeholders

  • Ability to obtain security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics and 2+ years of experience working with networking and routing solutions and configuring switches and routers or 7+ years of experience working with networking and routing solutions and configuring switches and routers in lieu of a degree

  • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification or Network+ certification within 90 days of start date

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with performing engineering activities for a DoD program

  • Experience with cryptography

  • Experience with HAIPE solutions

  • Experience with analyzing cybersecurity policy and compliance

  • Knowledge of planning and executing systems engineering technical reviews and milestones

  • Knowledge of development of systems engineering artifacts and developing requirements that trace to customer-desired capabilities

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master's degree in an Engineering field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
