The Opportunity:

Your combination of people skills and network administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We’re looking for a network administrator to build and maintain the infrastructure solutions that meets customer needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities and services to help us maintain DoD capabilities. 

As a network administrator on our team, you’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in the latest cloud technologies, as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using cloud capabilities and services. You’ll be able to sharpen your skills in computer programming and scripting languages while developing critical systems for the Air Force. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Work with us and resolve daily challenges as we improve and optimize for the next generation of defense.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in network administration and support
  • Experience troubleshooting IP address issues
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, including SFTP, SMTP, HTTPS, or IP
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance 
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Winter 2024

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in Cisco switches and routers
  • Experience in Aruba switches
  • Knowledge of load balancers
  • Knowledge of cloud networking implementation

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
