Exercise Planner

The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. 

As an Exercise Planner, you’ll bring your consulting, strategic, and tactical expertise to work alongside thought leaders in Army operations and exercise planning on projects for the Army Corps. You’ll use your skills and expertise to develop, plan, and assess Army Corps level exercises. 

Work with us to develop exercises that will build the readiness to counter strategic threats in Europe. You served your country as a Uniformed Service Member or Government Civilian, now further your career while creating mission-forward solutions that matter.

You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience in an operational or logistics role at the Brigade level or above
  • 2+ years of experience working with NATO or partner nation forces
  • Knowledge of the Joint Event Life Cycle
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications

Nice If You Have:  

  • 2+ years of experience leading an exercise planning team through the Joint Event Life Cycle
  • 2+ years of experience with European Theater Plans and Operations   
  • 2+ years of experience as a staff member on a Division Staff at a 2-star or higher level
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
