Digital Engineering Solutions Engineer

The Opportunity:

Your ability to integrate varying engineering lifecycle artifacts together across a digital engineering ecosystem helps deliver transformational change to their organization.  

As a Digital Threads Integration Engineer on our team, you have the chance to develop and integrate digital threads across a digital engineering ecosystem in support of important defense engineering efforts. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize existing engineering processes and procedures to a Digital Engineering future state. You’ll develop your skills in systems engineering while gaining experience in product lifecycle management and other engineering disciplines. Grow your skills by merging engineering and business process to create transformational digital engineering change for our customers. You Have: 

  • 6+ years of experience with systems engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with traceability or engineering process documentation
  • Knowledge of product configuration and data management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of digital thread, including digital thread concepts, its purpose in digital engineering, and its role in connecting data across engineering disciplines
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data generated from sources of truth, and connect them to other data artifacts using a data integration tool
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including creating digital thread reports, presentations, or documentation
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience developing digital threads
  • Experience with data integration software, including SBE Vision or Syndeia
  • Experience using data integration software for creating and managing digital threads
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience with Product Life Cycle Management practices and tools
  • Experience with product development at an aerospace or defense OEM
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent data analysis skills
  • Master’s degree in Systems Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
