Military Health Operations Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Review the critical military medical capabilities required to support the operational force incorporating an understanding of the entire DoD Military Health System (MHS). Conduct mission analysis, policy analysis, and monitor compliance and effectiveness for military operational medical support to include medical care of military personnel, the civilian expeditionary workforce, and contractors deployed in the operational area. Leverage knowledge of the Joint Staff and the missions, roles and responsibilities, and organizational structures of the Combatant Commands. Collaborate with Joint, Service, and Defense Agency leaders leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the DoD Military Health System. Work with Joint medical planning processes applying a thorough understanding of medical planning tools and data. Support the application rigorous analytical methodologies in Joint operational medical force planning and modernization. Conduct analysis, metric development, monitor compliance and policy effectiveness on military operational medical readiness and ongoing support including working with the civilian expeditionary work force and contractors deployed in the operational area. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in military medical planning, including experience at Service or Joint Force HQs, working with operational medical capabilities and planning for combat operations and casualty care doctrine

  • Experience with the use and application of DoD medical planning tools

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of the DoD Military Health System (MHS), military services medical operational capabilities, and doctrine

  • Knowledge of program evaluation and data analytics

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in the performance of in-depth analysis and development of medical strategic and operational plans and doctrine

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, multi-task, and adapt quickly to changing client priorities and ad-hoc requests

  • Ability to communicate with DoD senior leaders

  • Secret clearance

  • Master's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
