Cloud Identity Management DevOps Engineer, Mid

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing DevSecOps engineer, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities and bring them to the enterprise. On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use a broad array of cloud technologies from core networking to the latest AI services to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help protect civilians.

You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solutions focused on modern secure identity management solutions. Work with a team to integrate diverse tools and systems to manage into an SSO environment using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and other industry standards IDM implementations.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Linux and troubleshooting and upgrading network configuration in RedHat, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux flavors

  • Experience with SAML, OIDC or OAuth for SSO integrations

  • Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD

  • Experience with employing an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach to managing cloud environments, specifically using Terraform, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation

  • Experience with creating and improving automation scripts across multiple technical stacks using Python, Bash, and Boto3

  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust or suitability/fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience with Okta, Cognito, Forgerock, and AWS Identity center

  • Experience with managing enterprise directories in Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP Directories

  • Experience in working with GitOps tools, such as Flux, ArgoCD

  • Public Trust

  • CKAD or CKA Certification

  • AWS Certification, including Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Networking, or Security

  • Security Engineering or Cyber Engineering Certification, including Security+

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
