As an IGA (Identity Governance and Administration) DevSecOps Engineer, you have the skills and experience to keep hackers from taking data and breaking processes. We are looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their missions without disruption.
An IGA DevSecOps Engineer plays a crucial role in integrating security within the software development lifecycle. They are responsible for assessing development pipelines, embedding security measures, and working with cross-functional teams to implement automated security testing and deployment processes. This role requires a deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, hands-on implementation skills, and the ability to address cybersecurity threats proactively.
As an IGA DevSecOps Engineer is a key player in integrating security within the DevOps process, ensuring that infrastructure and applications are built with security from the start. You'll be creating, developing, and implementing solutions to meet infrastructure and security requirements, automating security controls, and continuously monitoring for vulnerabilities. You will have a strong background in DevOps, with a focus on security, and experience with tools like GitHub, Terraform, and Jira. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in managing the seamless integration of DevSecOps processes that will align with our allied missions and the identity management framework. You'll stay current with emerging IGA and IAM technologies and trends and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with designing and implementing DevSecOps practices
5+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools such as GitHub, Terraform, and Jira and maintained and optimized GitHub repositories for code versioning and collaboration
Experience with conducting security assessments and compliance checks
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code deployments
Experience with automated security controls and vulnerability management within deployment pipelines
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
Knowledge of configuration as code and infrastructure as code principles
Knowledge of Identity governance tools
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience working in an agile delivery team
Experience with presenting technical briefs to senior leadership
Experience with PING, SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta
Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST 800-63
Knowledge of problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to lead and coach technical staff
Bachelor’s degree in CS or Software Engineering
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
