International Operations & Travel Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a project management specialist supporting international operations and travel, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many projects require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll develop and implement projects standards for international operations and travel in collaboration with key stakeholders. You’ll help with tactical planning using project management tools and regular interactions with the program management office and technical leaders.

You Have: 

  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders to initiate risk assessments, mitigation plans, and cost controls to maximize FAR compliance
  • Ability to develop and refine Deployment, Relocation, and Travel Authorization Request processes and program activities in support of the U.S. government
  • Ability to train, mentor, and advise program personnel of processes and activities
  • Ability to apply communication expertise to convey meaningful insights to complex issues and explain findings to teammates and executives
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity to provide recommendations to solve business problems
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Knowledge of operations in high-risk, OCONUS environments
  • Knowledge of DoD Deployment requirements and processes
  • Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, including analyzing problems, conducting research, evaluating options for action, and providing thoughtful recommendations at a strategic level
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
