The Opportunity:

As a Logistician, you know that every program relies on logistics to make operations successful. You understand Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Command and Control (C2) system sustainment planning and know that using Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, Serena, and other supply chain software applications are critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We’re looking for a logistic professional like you to apply your logistics and process improvement expertise to deliver solutions for the Air Force systems and its supported customers. Using your knowledge in end-to-end systems lifecycle planning, supply chain support, logistics execution, and policy review, you’ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.

 

As a Logistician you’ll provide expertise in developing, executing, and improving strategic implementation planning to support 24/7/365 global ISR operations. You’ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience in executing Integrated Product Support is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.

 

In this role, you’ll use your logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the mission of the warfighter. You’ll partner closely with senior team members and showcase your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution and use your curiosity and solution-oriented mindset to oversee mission-critical sustainment needs, while considering changes to the systems as new requirements emerge.

You Have:  

  • Experience in sustainment and logistics concepts, requirements management, supply chain management, and systems delivery and integration

  • Knowledge in SAFe, Agile, or ITIL processes

  • Top Secret clearance 

  • HS diploma and 22+ years of experience with logistics supporting IT systems, or Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of experience with logistics supporting IT systems, or Master's degree and 10+ years of experience with logistics supporting IT systems

 

Nice If You Have:  

  • Knowledge of Air Force air or ground communication systems

  • Knowledge of Product Support Business Case Analysis processes to assess public and private capabilities, infrastructure, skills base, past performance, and capabilities to meet operational and system performance objectives

  • Ability to independently integrate AF product support elements, from design and development through use and disposal

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • DAWIA Level I, II or III Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
