Project Control Analyst

Key Role:

Under supervision, responsible for detailed financial and administrative activities, such as budgeting, reporting, estimating, and analysis, for small-to-moderate sized programs, organizations or proposals. Participates in budget preparation and monitors expenses. Prepares or assists in the preparation of cost-to-complete. Assists in preparing estimates. Performs cost and schedule variance analysis and provides recommendations. Prepares or assists in the implementation of customer requirements of moderately complex invoicing documentation. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues with a team effectively 

  • Ability to be a team player, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements 

  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance 

  • HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with financial management or in a financial program control environment, or Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience with financial management or in a financial program control environment or Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with financial management or in a financial program control environment

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience with government contract financial management

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and functions in calculation and analysis 

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,600.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
