Operational Planner

The Opportunity:

The mission of C6ISR operations is to provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to operational and strategic decision makers. Decision superiority is the competitive advantage, enabled by an ongoing situational awareness, that allows commanders and their forces to make informed decisions and implement them as fast and effectively as the situation warrants. In achieving decision superiority, C6ISR systems and products must enable strategic, operational, and tactical users to better understand the operational environment systematically, spatially, and temporally, allowing them to orient themselves to the current and predicted situations to enable strategic decisions.

As an Operational Planner on our team, you’ll work in OCONUS austere environments with different program leads and team members to deliver accurate, timely, and relevant data through highly available airborne, ground, maritime, cyber, and space-based C6ISR solutions. Additionally, you will enhance capabilities, develop relationships, build synergies, increase quality, promote collaboration, share knowledge, and streamline processes and procedures. You'll serve as lead for client engagements through a plan of action with presentations, whitepapers, and milestones covering all facets of site operations to include optempo, maintenance, logistics, and short-term deployments. You'll work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. You'll operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. You'll mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. You will troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of policy documentation and ISR processes. You'll leverage your experience to manage risk, communicate effectively, and inform USG and internal leadership in a timely manner.
