Risk Management Framework Validator

Key Role:

Provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) Cybersecurity support for our DoD client. Analyze, document, and validate services for DoD IT solutions, including applications, networks, systems, architectures, and infrastructure to organizations. Apply knowledge of DoD network architectures and policy towards the assessment and identification of vulnerabilities as a means of improving the operational security posture. Execute and conduct analysis of network and system Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) vulnerability scans to validate the appropriate implementation of security controls in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and DoS publications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ year of experience with performing validator activities independently, as defined in the DoD RMF process, and applying RMF guidance to DoD Authorization efforts

  • Experience with test and evaluation for allocating assigned security controls into assessment objectives and procedures, developing and executing Security Assessment Plans (SAP), and applying sequencing to reduce duplication of effort

  • Experience with DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite of tools

  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)

  • Experience with vulnerability assessment scanning tools and reporting, intrusion detection technologies, intrusion prevention technologies, and host-based security system (HBSS)

  • Knowledge of DoD published Security Technical Information Guidance (STIG) requirements and implementation or compliance process

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • DoD 8140 Certification, including CISM or CISSP

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience developing automation scripts for your work 

  • Experience with SIEM tools

  • Experience with Cloud Computing Environments, such as AWS or Azure

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • DoD service-specific Validator Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
