Proposal Orals Coach

Key Role:

Lead and coach teams in the preparation and delivery of live and video oral presentations for a variety of clients. Apply analytical and critical thinking expertise and follow a structured methodology in support of complex responses for Federal Government proposals. Translate technical jargon and complex ideas into a compelling voice track. Work with the proposal presentation team to develop an effective oral response. Apply expertise as a solution architect towards the development of a compelling presentation and ensure that the solution design will score strengths and resonate with clients. Help team members to organize their thoughts and enable them to successfully deliver key points. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop schedules with client-focused simulations that will be used to evaluate the team’s ability to meet client expectations. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with preparing and coaching teams in competitive oral proposal delivery techniques and proposal management best practices

  • Experience in working with government clients or within a government organization

  • Experience in supporting teams through large complex proposals with values in excess of $250M

  • Experience with delivering project solutions to federal clients

  • Ability to work under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities  

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience with the delivery of project solutions in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with defined business development processes  

  • Experience with working on solutions in an assisted acquisition environment

  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applicability to the development of proposals

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and customer relationship skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
