Pilot Project Energy Manager

As a Pilot Project Energy Manager, you understand the challenges of turning an innovative idea into an executed solution. You know the complexities associated with gathering requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and driving a project from concept to implementation. With the growing demand for resilient, clean energy solutions, many Federal Government energy consumers need support delivering pilot programs to introduce new solutions. On our team, you’ll develop and deliver pilot projects to prove the viability of new, clean, resilient, energy solutions. You’ll develop milestone plans, coordinate with client stakeholders, and overcome project hurdles through collaboration and creative problem-solving. You’ll facilitate key meetings and support day-to-day operations by managing communication flows.

You Have:
5+ years of experience as an energy program or project manager
Experience working with data analysts, engineers, and environmental specialists to originate energy projects
Experience driving collaboration between government, technology partners, and utility providers
Experience advising senior clients in complex and politically charged environments
Knowledge of regulatory issues and technical innovations driving the electric industry across the U.S.
Knowledge of land leases, power purchase agreements, and other contractual vehicles typically uses in renewable energy project development
Ability to manage schedule and workload to successfully deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with advising Federal agencies
Experience working with the Department of Defense
Experience developing projects within National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements
Knowledge of geothermal energy technology
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
