Ground Systems Engineer

You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience with working in mission management, command and control, or scheduling

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Experience with performing systems engineering, including alternative design, architectural analysis, modeling and simulation, enterprise strategic planning, or digital engineering methodologies

  • Experience with optimizing DoD ground system architecture designs

  • Ability to lead teams of developers

  • Ability to organize and lead technical interchange meetings to determine activities and technical work necessary to support transition detailed event planning

  • Ability to communicate effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and be flexible to changing requirements or customer needs

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in scripting with Python or other languages

  • Experience with software development life cycles and Agile techniques

  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools, including Magic Draw, Cameo, or SysML

  • Ability to demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and be highly motivated to contribute to the DoD mission

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
