Salesforce Developer

The Opportunity: 

As a Salesforce Developer, you will work closely with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts. You'll work in all aspects of the Salesforce development life cycle, including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. You’ll also serve as an advisor to our clients and provide consultative guidance regarding how they might adopt new technologies or add new features to support the mission. We’re looking for someone like you to champion the technology that changes the face of healthcare. 

In this role, you’ll have an impact from day one. You'll apply extensive experience developing on the Salesforce platform following best practices and utilizing Salesforce declarative capabilities where appropriate. Your ability to build positive relationships with other team members, ability to write clean, maintainable Apex code while keeping governor limits in mind, experience with web development technologies like Lightning Web Components, knowledge of the Salesforce platform’s declarative capabilities, and an ability to mentor and grow junior team members will be key. Most importantly, you’ll advise our Government clients on the best ways to improve and modernize the existing systems. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce pages, Aura Components, or Lightning Web Components 

  • Experience with committing code and metadata to Git repositories

  • Experience with Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ with Illuminated Cloud

  • Experience with enterprise software design patterns, including Repository, Selector, Unit of Work or Memoization

  • Experience with mocking and stubbing using the APEX StubProvider interface

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud

  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, both point-to-point and middleware

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform Developer I Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the Federal Government or healthcare IT

  • Experience in a client-facing or consulting role

  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps technologies and tools, including GitHub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum

  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, C/C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relational database management systems

  • Experience with SCRUM and SAFe Agile methodologies

  • Experience with mentoring or teaching others

  • Knowledge of the Salesforce development life cycle

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and Salesforce Certified JavaScript Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
