Job Description
Key Role:
Apply expertise and collaborate with a team of experts to test the APIs in an AWS cloud environment for a backend translation service. Create testing strategy and test plans and display a strong focus on API testing. Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders. Ensure software quality, identify bugs and inconsistencies. Work closely with our Translation Hub and interface partners to test, analyze, and improve our Translation Hub system.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in software testing, including API testing
Experience with testing tools, including Postman or SoapUI
Experience with performance testing tools, including JMeter
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages, including Python or JavaScript
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of Cloud-native and 3rd party solutions to enable integration within Cloud providers, including Microsoft Azure and AWS
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, including Jenkins or Git
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
