Operations Specialist

The Opportunity:

As an operations specialist you will support the Program Management Office of a large, complex program, and perform work in a management environment as directed, with minimal supervision and work autonomy. You will also have extensive opportunities for growth while executing independent decisions within established guidelines and performing routine to moderately complex programmatic analysis; assemble, analyze, provide technical editing, prepare and review reports, manuals, presentations and agendas for program-wide communications; and research technical material to keep information current for fielding questions on contract requirements and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Wiki How To’s in support of program operations. Additional tasks will include filing, collecting, and organizing data and assisting with projects to populate SharePoint portals, and coordinate, schedule, and track calendar invitations and meeting recordings for multiple geographically separated stakeholders. You must be capable of operating with a large team in a collaborative environment, and confident and self-motivated with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks at once.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook for managing calendars and scheduling meetings

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for document management

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the military, including in a civilian or contractor capacity

  • Experience with customer service

  • Experience with preparing briefings and reports appropriate for senior executives

  • Ability to proofread documents for format, grammar, and punctuation with a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to multi-task while also maintaining strict attention to detail

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,700.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
