On our team, you will work will Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government as the Lead Systems Integrator ensuring the space, ground and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user’s needs. You will provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capabilities are delivered to meet the threat.

You Have:
7+ years of experience with performing systems engineering or integration in DoD space systems
Experience with performing systems engineering for satellite systems or ground systems
Experience with using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
Ability to work collaboratively and independently and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Nice If You Have:
2+ years of experience with military SATCOM systems
2+ years of experience with space acquisition
Experience with a software program using Agile methodologies
Experience with Confluence or JIRA
Experience in working with software factories or DecvSecOps pipelines
Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Agile Certification, including CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
