You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience with IT
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior systems engineer role, overseeing complex IT infrastructure
  • Experience with Agile framework and Scrum, and Microsoft domain and network configuration such as AD, DNS, or DHCP
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell to automate installation, configuration, hardening, and maintenance tasks
  • Ability to effectively install, configure, and administer in a multi-system or multi-application environment
  • Ability to automate the installation and configuration of applications
  • Ability to create and test virtualized environments such as VMWare, OpenShift, Hyper-V, or AWS, for development and testing procedures that are traceable to system requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8140 or 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with Microsoft server products such as Exchange, SQL, Skype, or SharePoint
  • Experience with Microsoft Systems Center products such as MECM, SCCM, SCOM, or SCSM
  • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform playbook creation and development
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Bash, Python, HTML, or Java
  • Experience with AI/ML for IT service management
  • Knowledge of integrated development environments (IDE) such as Visual Studio Code, for Git management and code revision
  • Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering
  • Microsoft Certification such as MCIT, MCSA, or MCSE Certification
  • Vendor Certifications such as RHCE, VCP, or similar Certification
  • Scrum or Agile, CISSP, SANS, ITIL, PMP, and RedHat Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
