Job Description
Key Role:
Determine appropriate acquisition approaches based on DoD adaptive acquisition framework. Research, analyze, assess, and coordinate acquisition program documentation based on a selected adaptive acquisition pathway, including an acquisition strategy, acquisition program baseline, and acquisition decision memorandum. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including the Resource Sponsor, Requirements Officer, and Operational Test Authority to ensure successful program execution and obtain concurrence on an acquisition way-ahead. Execute acquisition requirements in accordance with DoD 5000 series instructions and contracting approaches leveraging knowledge of the FAR. Help to track action items and comments to acquisition documentation to closure. Track programmatic issues and risks to ensure they are addressed in acquisition documentation and assist with the development of status updates and briefs to program office leadership and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with DoD acquisitions or contracts
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMs
Ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience supporting a Navy acquisition program office
Knowledge of DoD acquisition, including touchpoints with all functional fields, such as contracting, budget, engineering, and test
Experience with urgent or rapid capability fielding
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational skills
Contracting, PM DoD, or PM Industry certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
