As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our AI team, you’ll learn and apply innovative AI and data science methodologies and deployment techniques to make a real-world impact on the mission of our civilian clients. You’ll grow your skills in data science, and machine learning operationalization process, and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means like white papers, client presentations, and client interactions.

You Have:
2+ years of experience in ML, data science, computer science, or computational engineering
4+ years of experience working in major scripting languages, including Python, Java, R, or C++
2+ years of experience researching and developing operational concepts in artificial intelligence and ML, mathematical or statistical models, and data exploration, analysis, and synthesis
Experience developing advanced methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform, and present information in support of all-source intelligence analysis and production
Experience working with and presenting to non-technical personnel
Knowledge of research design principles
Knowledge of analytic methods and methodological tools in applied mathematics, computer programming, or data visualization
Ability to apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms on structured and unstructured datasets
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with the full life cycle of machine learning development and deployment, including gathering requirements, identifying data, preparing data, and building, validating, and using deployable predictive models with the usage having tangible results
Experience with Databricks or cloud AI environments
Knowledge of data strategy and data governance
Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
