Full Stack Software Engineer, Senior

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming

  • 5+ years of experience in software development

  • 5 + years of experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks

  • Experience as a Senior Software Developer

  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team  

  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#

  • Knowledge of architecture styles for APIs, including REST or MVC

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+, within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with database technologies, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitLab

  • Experience with C#, .NET and .NET Core, Web API, MVC, or LINQ

  • Experience with Scripting languages, including PowerShell or Python

  • Experience with pub or sub tools, including RabbitMQ or Kafka

  • Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including jQuery, d3, React, or Vue

  • Experience with Containers, including Docker or Kubernetes

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
